Any tips for Med-Surg or Pharmacology?
I am hitting a wall with Pharmacology and Med-Surg. It feels like I’m memorizing endless lists of drug side effects and disease symptoms with no end in sight. Help?

Pharmacology is notoriously tough because it’s so abstract. Instead of trying to memorize lists, try to group drugs by their classification and focus on the common nursing priorities associated with each. I highly recommend running through the modules at https://www.simplytests.com/exams/nursing-school to see how these drugs are presented in test scenarios. When you see how they are actually tested on exams, it makes the study process much more focused and less like a giant, overwhelming dump of information.
